Pasar Badung ( Badung Market )
It is the biggest traditional market in Bali located on jalan Gajah Mada at the heart of Denpasar. Jalan Gajah Mada (Gajah Mada Street) is known as the oldest shopping centre in Denpasar.
In Pasar Badung visitor can enjoy buyers and sellers, involve them selves m businees with traditional way of transaction. The market is full of activities along the day while at night,
the night market starts with reasonable prices.
Pasar Kumbasari (Kumbasari Market)
Pasar Badung in Kurnbasari market which is dominantly engaged by people selling handicrafts, textile
and other things for souvenir, preferred best by visitors. Pasar Kumbasari and Pasar Badimg is bordered by Badung river which is also programmed as one of points of interest of the city tour package.
Pasar Kreneng (Kreneng Market)
The traditional market located about 3 km. East of the city centre is also a termmal of public transportation called “bemo “( nuni van ). The market like the other traditional markets is the central lot of daily needs while the night-market selling garments, children toys, electronics wares, etc, starts after dark. It is located on jalan Kamboja, can easily be reached from any direction, on foot, by public transport as well as by private car.
Pasar Sanglah (Sanglah Market)
It is located on jalan Waturenggong or about 2,5 km from the city centre. The market like the other traditional markets is a business centre for daily needs, garments and other products mainly for those living at the southem side of Denpasar. It can easily be reached from any direction and very dose to Sanglah General Hospital, some malls and Udayana University .
It opens along the day.
