Purancak is located on the Southern coastal area of West Ball. At the West tip of Purancak village there is atemple named Purancak Temple facing west towards Purancak rive :with its calm water while wild coastal vegetations grow the both side of the river.
Delod Berawah beach known as sloping beach with black sand is an ideal place for recreation, swimming and other activities. Once, there is a belief that its black sand can heal a kind of rheumatism, however it is need to be proven. The main attraction of this beach is at sunset time when a row of the fishermen traditional “Jukung” catching fish become glowing red under the twilight.
Having stoney beach andbig waves,Medewi has been considered as an ideal place for surfing. Its sloping part on the west with a bit receding to the South where a number of traditional rowing boat (jukung) tied up has made an amazing panorama mainly at thi time of sunset.
Sitting on the upper part of the beach, one can enjoy the wave splashing downward.
“Bunut Bolong” is literally a “Bunut” (ficus) tree growing very big under which tree a road was then built. This tree is quite specific for having a very big hole (as wide as the asphalted road passing throught it) in the middle of its bottom part, that even a big bus can pass through it, so the big tree is just like an entrance gate.
Alas Kedaton Temple also often called “Dalem Kahyangan” Temple (Kahyangan means “Nirvana/Paradise”), is located at the South of Menalun village, district of Marga Tabanan regency or about 15 km from Denpasar to the North-West. It can easily be reached by motored vehicles and the road signs are sufficiently clear.
Yeh Panes is known as a beautiful natural resting place, located on an upperland of a river surrounded by fresh vegetation and green forest. Adjacent to the place is terraced ricefield extended along the river. Right at the location of the hot spring one will find a waterfall while the hot spring comes up in the middle of a temple under the big banyan tree.
Soka beach has long been known by people regarding its location by the main road Denpasar - Gilimanuk. The panorama is quite magnificient with chains of hills as natural wall on the westside which is then connected with Mt. Batukaru on the North while on the east, Mt. Agung is seen in the distance and Indonesian Ocean is on the South with the eastern tip of East Java Blambangan,Banyuwangi is also seen in the distance.
Jatiluwih is one of the places of interest with marvelous natural attraction in Ball. Its cool weather being about 700 m above the sea level terraced of ricefield back grounded by mountain covered by dense tropical forest is really a spectacular natural charm.
Instead of its natural potency, Jatiluwih is also known for its cultural belonging mainly the construction history of a temple related to the reign of King Ida Dalem Waturenggong at Gelgel Palace (1460-1551).
Iseh village as a place of interest had been known before the war for independence in Indonesia (1945). A German painter named : Walter Spies lived at Iseh between 1895-1942. He built a small hut as his painting studio and here at Iseh he produced some of his best paintings.Instead of being a painter, Mr. Spies was also interested iri “gamelan” orchestras.
Panti Timbrah Temple is located at Paksebali village, Dawan district. One interesting thing about this temple is when its anniversary celebration comes in every 210 days on Kuningan Holiday on which day a special event called “Perang Jempana” (fight of temple effigies) carried out.The event started with people in procession carrying temple effigies (as the Deities thrones with specific identities in colours: red,yellow, white, black and checker), on their shoulders, heading to the holy bathing-place at Segening Temple by Unda river.
