Taman Sari Temple is located or the North east of Semarapura or about 500 meters from the town centre. The beauty of this temple is seen from the emerging of th( eleven and nine storey roofedshrines (merus) from the pond Eleven storey-roofed shrine for the Hindus, symbolizing Mount Mahameru standing on a giant turtle, drowned in milky ocean.Then came the Deities and demons to stir the mountain with Anantaboga dragon to be the rope winder. From the process ostirring the milky ocean then came up “Amerta” holy water (water of life).
